With a focus on the relevance of topic and building organizational strength from the inside out, we would like to announce that the call for speakers for the Education Summit & Expo September 23-26, in Anaheim, CA, is now open. This program hosts five simultaneously held learning tracks as well as general sessions that compliment all essential areas of banking and leadership; this event delivers a tailored educational experience built around credit and lending, finance, human resources, marketing, and technology.
Additionally, we are accepting speaker applications for the Regulatory Compliance Conference, October 2-5, in Sacramento, CA. This program offers expert guidance on the regulatory initiatives and compliance enforcement issues impacting today's banking landscape. Attendees will explore compliance's most pressing topics as well as forecasted changes and challenges.
While we are open to a range of topics, issues to consider in proposal submissions include ascension, communication strategies, mentoring, stress management, building negotiation skills, the future landscape of the financial services industry, regulatory recalibration, and the primacy of purpose. The Women in Banking forum represents the essence of WIB's initiative to strengthen the community bank executives of tomorrow by supporting them today through education and collaboration. In 2018, the Women in Banking Forum will be held May 31 at Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego, CA.
