Our continued mission at Western Independent Bankers is to inform, educate, and connect bankers at all levels within the industry. With a focus on the relevancy of topic and building organizational strength from the inside out, we would like to announce that the call for speakers for the Women in Banking Forum is now open. The Women in Banking Forum is designed to inspire and empower women bankers and to offer participants an understanding that success can be achieved at any level given the right tools. This year, the event will be held May 31, 2018, at the Paradise Point Resort in San Diego, California.
While we are open to a range of topics, issues to consider in proposal submissions include ascension, communication strategies, mentoring, stress management, building negotiation skills, the future landscape of the financial services industry, regulatory recalibration, and the primacy of purpose. All proposals must be submitted before February 19, 2018, for consideration. WIB welcomes the opportunity to showcase the aptitude of its affiliate and bank members.
